About LTE Modulation Analysis
89601BHGC (89601B-BHD) adds LTE Long Term Evolution FDD Frequency Division Duplex: A duplex scheme in which uplink and downlink transmissions use different frequencies but are typically simultaneous. and 89601BHHC (89601B-BHE) adds LTE TDD Time Division Duplex: A duplexing technique dividing a radio channel in time to allow downlink operation during part of the frame period and uplink operation in the remainder of the frame period. modulation analysis capability to your 89600 VSA software.
With 89601BHGC (89601B-BHD): LTE FDD Modulation Analysis and 89601BHHC (89601B-BHE): LTE TDD Modulation Analysis, you can demodulate signals that conform to the following standards:
- Specs
- 36.211 V9.1.0 (March 2010)
- 36.212 V9.4.0 (September 2011)
- 36.213 V9.3.0 (September 2010)
- 36.214 V9.2.0 (June 2010)
- EVM Error vector magnitude (EVM): A quality metric in digital communication
systems. See the EVM metric in the Error Summary Table topic in each demodulator for more information on how EVM is calculated for that modulation format. calculations and Conformance
- 36.141 V9.10.0 (July 2012)
- 36.521-1 V9.8.0 (March 2012)
With the LTE demodulator, you can demodulate both uplink and downlink signals. Once required parameters are specified, the demodulator will automatically lock onto the signal. The demodulator can perform power-based autodetection of C-RS Cell-specific RS PDSCH Physical Downlink Shared Channel allocations for uplink and downlink signals. Additionally, user allocations can be determined by decoding PDCCH Physical Downlink Control Channel in downlink signals.
The demodulator provides various signal analysis capabilities including decoded PDSCH, PDCCH, PHICH Physical Hybrid ARQ Indicator Channel, PBCH Physical Broadcast Channel, and PCFICH Physical Control Format Indicator Channel information, EVM calculations, IQ constellation displays for uplink signals (including SC-FDMA Single Carrier - Frequency Division Multiple Access) and downlink signals, channel equalization data, error summary data, and MIMO Multiple Input, Multiple Output: A physical layer (PHY) configuration in which both transmitter and receiver use multiple antennas. quality info. Flexible display scaling and marker functionality enhance these measurement capabilities.
