2D Beam Pattern Display (LTE)
The Antenna Azimuth Beam Pattern and Elevation Azimuth Beam Pattern traces when the Antenna Array Shape is Rectangular, or three-dimensional.
parameters control the data that is diplayed in the two-dimensionalLayer Index
Layer Index specifies the antenna layer whose data will be shown in the 2D traces.
Default: 0 deg
Group Index
Group Index specifies the antenna group whose data will be shown in the 2D traces.
Default: 0 deg
Disp UE Peak Beam
When Disp UE User Equipment (e.g. cell phone) Peak Beamis selected, the azimuth and elevation angles are automatically cut at the peak of the spherical surface of the 3D beam pattern. The field to the right of the Disp UE Peak Beam setting specifies the UE index, which corresponds with the antenna port number displayed in the 3D Beam Summary trace.
When this setting is selected, the Azimuth Angle and Elevation Angle settings are disabled because the angles are automatically calculated.
Azimuth Angle
When Disp UE Peak Beam is not selected, you can manually set the azimuth angle for the two-dimensional Antenna Azimuth Beam Pattern and Elevation Azimuth Beam Pattern traces.
Default: 0 deg
Range: -90 to 90 deg
Elevation Angle
When Disp UE Peak Beam is not selected, you can manually set the elevation angle for the two-dimensional Antenna Azimuth Beam Pattern and Elevation Azimuth Beam Pattern traces.
Default: 90 deg
Range: 0 to 180 deg
