CPE (%rms) (MB-OFDM)

Menu Path: Trace > Data > Composite > Band Errs

CPE (Common Pilot Error) is the RMS level of the Common Pilot Error trace data, expressed as a percentage of an ideal signal. The CPE represents the deviation of the Common Pilot Error trace from the ideal and shows how much the MB-OFDM Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing: OFDM employs multiple overlapping radio frequency carriers, each operating at a carefully chosen frequency that is Orthogonal to the others, to produce a transmission scheme that supports higher bit rates due to parallel channel operation. OFDM is an alternative tranmission scheme to DSSS and FHSS. burst drifts over time.

Results of this parameter appear for each of the Bands: Low, Mid, and High.
