Common Tracking Error (NB-IoT)
shows the corrections calculated by EVM Minimization. The complex value for each symbol is the average of subcarrier phase and amplitude corrections to that symbol. When is set to , the trace still shows the tracking error for each symbol, but tracking is calculated per subframe (downlink).
To view the tracking information for all NRS/Rx paths simultaneously, select the MIMO Common Tracking Error trace.
The trace can show phase or amplitude error when the appropriate trace format, such as or , is selected.
The information in the trace is calculated from a symbol FFT Fast Fourier Transform: A mathematical operation performed on a time-domain signal to yield the individual spectral components that constitute the signal. See Spectrum. location determined by the Symbol Timing Adjust parameter.
always shows corrections for each symbol even when corrections are applied on a slot-by-slot or subframe-by-subframe basis. See EVM Minimization for more information.
