Keysight 89600 VSA for N4391A Optical Modulation Analyzer

The Keysight 89600 VSA software supports the N4391A Optical Modulation Analyzer.

The N4391A Optical Modulation Analyzer contains a special, limited version of the 89601B VSA software. This VSA functions as a component of the N4391A and cannot be used as a general purpose or standalone VSA.

The limited version differs from a standard 89601B VSA in the following ways:

The 89600 VSA is pre-configured with options 200 and AYA only. Changes to this configuration are possible only when offered as options or upgrades to the N4391A Optical Modulation Analyzer.
The 89600 VSA connects to the N4391A hardware and software only.
The 89600 VSA remote programming interface (.NET API 1) Access Preamble Indicator, or 2) Application Programming Interface) is not accessible.
The 89600 VSA and N4391A are licensed together; the VSA's license cannot be transferred out of the system and used separately.
