Input Extensions (E7760A)

The Keysight E7760A Wideband Transceiver uses the same input extensions that are available for X-Series signal analyzers. In the case of the RF Radio Frequency: A generic term for radio-based technologies, operating between the Low Frequency range (30k Hz) and the Extra High Frequency range (300 GHz). Input/Output Port extension, the E7760A Wideband Transceiver supports more and different ports that other X-Series signal analyzers to support its connectivity with the M1650A mmWave Transceiver (RF Input/Output Port connections shown below).

Refer to the Keysight X-Series Signal Analyzer section for more information on other input extensions.

RF Input/Output Port

The E7760A has two types of ports. The six mmWave Ports (A1-A3 and B1-B3) are used in conjunction with the M1650A mmWave Transceiver, a test head which exchanges signals with a mmWave DUT Device under Test: An acronym used to describe some type of electrical apparatus connected to test instrumentation. The apparatus can range from a single component to a complex subsystem such as a mobile phone, base station or MSC. through an Over-The-Air interface. The front-panel mmWave Ports do not actually send or receive mmWave signals; the M1650A provides the necessary upconversion or downconversion to achieve the desired frequency range. The other two ports, IFIO1 and IFIO2, have a range of 2-18 GHz Gigahertz: A frequency measurement which equals one billion hertz..

The RF Input/Output values are as follows:
