Input Extensions (M9420A/M9421A)

For the M9420A and M9421A, the only parameter available is RF Radio Frequency: A generic term for radio-based technologies, operating between the Low Frequency range (30k Hz) and the Extra High Frequency range (300 GHz). Input/Output.

RF Input/Output Port

The RF Input/Output values are as follows:

RFIO FD - RF Input/Output port. It provides full duplex IO capability depending on the configuration (not applicable for M9421A).
RFIO HD - RF Input/Output port. It provides half duplex IO capability depending on the configuration.
RF Input - RF Input port.

To specify RF Input/Output, follow these steps:

Be sure that the M9420A/M9421A is selected as the Current Analyzer Configuration
Click Input > Extensions
Select an RFIO port from the drop-down menu.

Other selections may be visible. Only the selections described in this topic are valid. If a selection is chosen that is not valid, the default setting will be selected instead.

Click Preset All to preset all input extension parameters across all logical instruments and channels.
