Measurement Pause Enable (Pulse)
Menu Path:
When Measurement Pause Enable is enabled, you can configure a conditional logic test to be performed on one of the supported Pulse Table result metrics after each measurement update.
The conditional logic test is applied to all detected pulses within the Pulse Table results. If the conditional logic test condition is met for any one of the valid pulse detections, the Pulse Measurement reverts to the paused state, with the current acquisition signal data and pulse analysis results available on screen for further troubleshooting. In this way you have the ability to capture and pause for further analysis specific performance or impairment results of interest, even for sporadic / intermittent events.
The status bar will include “(test condition met)” if the measurement was paused by this feature.
- Metric:
- Specifies the supported Pulse Table metric to which the measurement pause conditional logic test is applied.
- Default: Top Level (dBm deciBels referenced to a milliWatt: dB relative to 1 milliwatt dissipated in the nominal input impedance of the analyzer)
- Operator
Specifies the conditional check operator logic used to form the measurement pause conditional logic test.
- Default selection: Value >
-
t1
-
First of two thresholds. Specifies the threshold limit value (in base units of specified Measurement Pause Metric), used to form the measurement pause conditional logic test.
-
Default value: 0 (in base units of specified Measurement Pause Metric)
-
-
t2
-
Second of two thresholds. Specifies the threshold limit value (in base units of specified Measurement Pause Metric), used to form the measurement pause conditional logic test.

Default value: 0 (in base units of specified Measurement Pause Metric)
