Include Extra Data Before and After (Pulse)
Menu Path:
When Include Extra Data Before and After is enabled, the display of the user Selected Pulses within the synchronized Amplitude, Phase and FM Frequency Modulation versus time trace results are automatically time aligned to the graticule 10% to 90% x-axis grid lines. This allows you to view measured data samples before and after the Selected Regions of interest (as shown below for the first 4 detected pulses).
Increasing the number of Extra Acquisition samples may be required to support automatic time alignment of user Selected Pulses to the graticule 10% to 90% x-axis grid lines when Include Extra Data Before and After is enabled. This is especially the case when viewing a large number of Selected Pulses.
When Include Extra Data Before and After is disabled, display of the user Selected Pulses within the synchronized Amplitude, Phase and FM versus time trace results, will be automatically time aligned to the graticule 0% to 100% x-axis grid lines.
When Segmented Capture mode is enabled, the Acquisition Length (s), Extra Acquisition (samples) and Include Extra Data Before and After properties are all grayed-out (unavailable) since user should specify desired Segmented Capture mode acquisition length using the separate Segment Length (s) and Segment Count properties.
Default checkbox: On
Unavailable when: Segmented Capture = On
