Mid Rho (TD-SCDMA)

Mid Rho (Midamble Rho) is the normalized correlation coefficient between the measured and ideal reference midamble signals. Mid Rho is computed by comparing the normalized correlated power between the measured midamble signal and the reference midamble signal and is designated as the waveform quality factor. The maximum value of Mid Rho is 1.0 (which means the measured signal and reference signal are 100% identical).

A Mid Rho value of 1.0 indicates that all of the transmitted power correlates with the ideal signal as determined by the detected sequence.

Rho is the correlated power for all active midamble code channels (as seen in the Composite CDP trace data display).
