Available Features (802.11n/ac/ax/be)

The following features are available with OFDM Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing: OFDM employs multiple overlapping radio frequency carriers, each operating at a carefully chosen frequency that is Orthogonal to the others, to produce a transmission scheme that supports higher bit rates due to parallel channel operation. OFDM is an alternative tranmission scheme to DSSS and FHSS. Demodulation:

• Standard 802.11n HT high throughput OFDM, Standard 802.11ac, Standard 802.11ax, Standard 802.11be and Standard 802.11 Non-HT demodulation presets:
  • 802.11n/ac 20 MHz Megahertz: A unit of frequency equal to one million hertz or cycles per second.
  • 802.11n/ac 40 MHz
  • 802.11ac 80 MHz
  • 802.11ac 80+80 MHz
  • 802.11ac 160 MHz
  • 802.11ax 20 MHz
  • 802.11ax 40 MHz
  • 802.11ax 80 MHz
  • 802.11ax 80+80 MHz
  • 802.11ax 160 MHz
  • 802.11be 20 MHz
  • 802.11be 40 MHz
  • 802.11be 80 MHz
  • 802.11be 160 MHz
  • 802.11be 320 MHz
  • 802.11 40 MHz Non-HT

• Variable carrier spacing (default 312.5 kHz kiloHertz: A radio frequency measurement (one kilohertz = one thousand cycles per second).)
• Pulse Search
• IQ Meas constellation measurement data
• Equalizer response measurement data
• Common Pilot Error measurement data
• Enhanced Error Vector trace data display
• Mirrored (flipped) frequency spectrums used to remove the effects of high-side mixing or complex conjugation mismatches in simulated data.
• Measurement offset and interval (similar to time gating) used to select specific data segments for analysis
• Averaging is applicable only in the following circumstances:
  • Multi-burst averaging is available for OFDM RMS Error Vector Spectrum, Channel Frequency Response, and CPhase Noise Spectrum trace data.
  • The following averaging types are available for the numeric error summary data and for the pre-demodulated spectrum trace data:
    • RMS (video)
    • RMS Exponential
    • Continuous Peak Hold
• Time gating is not available (does offer measurement offset/interval feature)
• CCDF Complementary Cumulative Distribution Function of the OFDM burst
• Phase Noise Spectrum trace data
• Preamble Frequency Error (used to show frequency settling)
• Automatic data subcarrier modulation format
• Automatic handling of HT-greenfield, HT-mixed, Non-HT Duplicate, and VHT very high throughput (VHT) physical (PHY) layer protocol data unit (PPDU):A PPDU transmitted using the TXVECTOR FORMAT parameter equal to VHT. signals
• Equalizer MIMO Multiple Input, Multiple Output: A physical layer (PHY) configuration in which both transmitter and receiver use multiple antennas. matrix condition number

These features are available with Digital Demod but not available for OFDM Demodulation:

• Sync search
• IQ Mag error and IQ Phase error trace data
