RMS Error Vector Time (802.11a/g/j/p OFDM)

Menu Path: Trace > Data > Channel X > RMS Error Vector Time where X is the selected channel.

The difference between IQ Meas and IQ Ref is the error vector, which would have a complex value at each subcarrier at each symbol. The RMS Error Vector Time looks at the error vector values for each symbol and does an RMS average of these values over all of the 52 used subcarriers. The result is a time trace, which shows the average error vector magnitude at each symbol.
