1xEV-DO Demod Properties Dialog Box
The 1xEV-DO Demodulation dialog box contains parameters that let you configure the VSA to descramble, despread, demodulate and analyze 1xEV-DO modulated signals.
The 1xEV-DO Demodulator must be selected before this dialog box is available. To enable the demodulator, click .
The 1xEV-DO Demod Properties dialog box contains tab headings that group similar configuration parameters as follows:
-
Format tab: Contains the Preset to Standard and the 1xEV-DO demod configuration parameters. These parameters must be set to match the transmitter modulation format for the VSA to lock on to and demodulate the signal.
-
Channel/Layer tab: Contains the parameters to select specific code layers and code channels for the Despread Channel and CDP Layer trace data results.
-
Time tab: Contains the time capture configuration parameters. You use these parameters to specify what segment of the time record (captured input signal) will be used for data analysis and trace data results.
-
Advanced tab: Contains Normalize IQ Traces, Mirror Frequency Spectrum, and the Preamble Detection parameters: Auto Detect, Preamble Length and Include in Overall Results. Also provides the IQ Combined, Include IQ Offset in EVM Error vector magnitude (EVM): A quality metric in digital communication systems. See the EVM metric in the Error Summary Table topic in each demodulator for more information on how EVM is calculated for that modulation format. and Combine TDM time division multiplexing burst: A contiguous portion of a TDM data stream using PHY parameters, determined by the Downlink Interval Usage Code (DIUC), that remain constant for the duration of the burst. TDM bursts are not separated by gaps or preambles. channels for Composite Results parameters. These parameters are used to modify how the measurement is computed.
