Inst CDP Layer (1xEVDO)

Inst CDP Layer trace data shows the Instantaneous Code Domain Power trace data for all active code channels (Walsh Code Number) within the specified code layer (Walsh Code Length). It is the non-averaged CDP Layer trace data.

CDP Composite trace data results are computed from data specified by the Measurement Interval and Measurement Offset parameters. The forward link CDP composite results are for the specified Analysis Channel (see Analysis Channel parameter). When Preamble is selected by Analysis Channel, CDP measurements only exist for cases where the preamble length is detected to be 1024 chips.

Inst CDP Layer trace data is not affected by averaging.

Selecting a Code Layer

Select the desired code layer by entering the Walsh Code Length in the CDP Layer Walsh Code Length text box (MeasSetup > 1xEV-DO Demod Properties > Channel/Layer tab).
