Chan Phase Error (1xEV-DO) (Reverse Direction Only)

Chan Phase error is the difference in phase between the I/Q reference signal and the I/Q measured signal at the measured symbol times for the specified Code Channel and Spread Code Length (see EVM, Magnitude and Phase Error data results (%rms)). To the right of the Phase Error is the symbol with the largest (or Peak) Phase Error (% Pk) and its value.

This data result only applies to reverse link direction signals.

The magnitude of this parameter is an indicator of the quality of the phase component of the modulated signal. For example, a very high phase error might indicate high incidental FM Frequency Modulation modulation on the signal.
