Installing the S9910A Keysight Signal Management Software (KSMS) and License

Before installing S9910A KSMS it is important that you install the N6854A Geo-location Server and N6841A RF Sensor Software (i.e., no license required).

To use the S9910A KSMS, refer to the Configuration Guide for your instrument and the available options.

This Procedure describes the prerequisites for installing S9910A Keysight Signal Management Software (KSMS) on your PC.

1. Download the N6854A Geo-location software and N6841A RF Sensor software

2. Order a S9910A Keysight Signal Management Software (KSMS) software license from Keysight Software Manager.

3. Download the licenses you received in an email from Keysight to your PC.

4. Download the latest version of PathWave License Manager

5. In PathWave License Manager - Add Licenses

6. Download the latest version of S9910A Keysight Signal Management Software (KSMS)

Prerequisites

To install S9910A Keysight Signal Management Software (KSMS) on your PC you must have the following:

A PC connected to the internet
N6854A Geo-location Server and
N6841A RF Sensor Software (i.e., Both can be downloaded from the same web page and must be installed before installing S9910A KSMS). See also , 2. Order a S9910A Keysight Signal Management Softare License from Keysight Software Manager.

1. Download the N6854A Geo-location software and N6841A RF Sensor software

Download the N6854A Geo-location software and N6841A RF Sensor software.

2. Order a S9910A Keysight Signal Management Software (KSMS) software license from Keysight Software Manager

When you order a S9910A KSMS license it includes other direction finding software similar to S9911A Time Difference of Arrival. But, the S9911A TDoA features are not displayed (active) in KSMS, unless you have a S9911A TDoA license.

3. Download the licenses you received in an email from Keysight to your PC.

4. Download the PathWave License Manager

Install the PathWave License Manager.

5. In PathWave License Manager - Add Licenses

Use Add License button () to add you licenses. Refer to "How do I get a license file?" in the PathWave License Manger help.

6. Download the latest version of S9910A Keysight Signal Management Software (KSMS)
