Beginning with PLTS Rev. A.05.50, you can connect to the PNA from the remote computer using a USB cable. The PNA must have Firmware A.09.00 or higher. This is possible only with the PNA-X or PNA 'C' models.
When controlled by a remote computer using USB, the PNA is free to control a test set through firmware. This is possible when using either:
A multiport PNA, such as the 4-port N5230C
A 2-port PNA with a test set. The PNA MUST have opt 550 or 551 installed and enabled.
