Generate Correction

Selection of this menu item forces a correction measurement to determine the correction coefficients for the current pattern library settings . The measurement data is stored in the data base and will replace any existing data for the current setup. The signal generator, arbitrary waveform generator, and analyzer must be connected correctly and share a common 10 MHz reference for the measurement to work. The sample clock minimum, maximum, resolution and reset values are system configuration specific:

• Internal Baseband Generator (Options 001, 002, 601, 602)

  • Default - 100 MHz

  • Minimum - 10 MHz

  • Maximum - 100 MHz

  • Resolution - 0.1 Hz

• N603xA/M933xA or N824xA Arbitrary Waveform Generator − External I/Q

  • Default - 1.25 GHz

  • Minimum - 156.25 MHz

  • Maximum - 1.25 GHz

  • Resolution - Internal clock only supports these frequencies: 156.25 MHz, 312.5 MHz, 625 MHz, and 1.25 GHz

• N603xA/M933xA or N824xA Arbitrary Waveform Generator − Wideband I/Q

  • Default - 1.25 GHz

  • Minimum - 156.25 MHz

  • Maximum - 1.25 GHz

  • Resolution - Internal clock only supports these frequencies: 156.25 MHz, 312.5 MHz, 625 MHz, and 1.25 GHz

  If the expected correction results are not achieved, you must perform an I/Q calibration on your signal generator. Instrument I/Q calibration is accessible from the front panel or with SCPI commands.
