Hop Pattern properties are only displayed on the Hop tab. They are not present on the pattern item grid.
The frequency hop pattern is implemented in the I/Q waveform data. The maximum frequency deviation from the RF carrier is about +- (Arb sample rate)/2.5. FM modulation (a.k.a chirps) are implemented in the I/Q waveform data along with hops. This means that the sum of the FM deviation and the hop pattern deviation cannot exceed the limit.
Some properties (e.g., Number of Pulses or Number of Steps) have ranges that are hardware specific.
The Repeat property specifies the number of times to repeat the object type on a line by line basis. For example, a Stepped hop pattern can be selected, but if the number entered for Repeat is set to one (1), no pattern is generated. The number of repeats is used to specify the number of times to repeat the object. The hop pattern is generated during a download.
