2. Basic

These parameters are overwritten by the application during a download or play.

Frequency

Range: for specified range values, see the signal generator's data sheet

Enter a value to set the signal generator’s output frequency. Use abbreviations for faster entry (example: 1g = 1.000000000000 GHz).

Amplitude

Range: for specified range values, see the signal generator's data sheet

Enter a value to remotely set the signal generator’s output amplitude.

RF Output

Double-click or use the drop-down menu to control the signal generator’s RF output state.

Frequency Offset

Range: –200 GHz to 200 GHz

Enter a value to set the signal generator’s output frequency offset. Use abbreviations for faster entry. For example: 1k = 1.000000000000 kHz.

Amplitude Offset

Range: –200 dB to 200 dB

Enter a value to remotely set the signal generator’s output amplitude offset.

Modulation

Double-click or use the drop-down menu to turn the signal generator's RF modulation on or off. This function applies to all enabled modulation, including I/Q modulation, pulse modulation, AM and FM modulation.
