IMD Suppression Bands

Click the Add button to add a new suppression band to the correction table.

Click the Delete button to delete the selected suppression band from the correction table. Use Shift-click to select multiple bands.

Start Frequency

Range: System dependent (The absolute value must be less than the Arb maximum sample rate / 2.5.)
Default: Signal dependent

Set the start frequency of the IMD suppression band. Multiple suppression bands may be defined in the IMD Suppression Table.

Stop Frequency

Range: System dependent (The absolute value must be less than the Arb maximum sample rate / 2.5.)
Default: Signal dependent

Set the stop frequency of the IMD suppression band. Multiple suppression bands may be defined in the Distortion Suppression Table.

Level

Range: -90 dBc to -30 dBc
Default: Signal dependent

Set the correction level of the selected IMD suppression band. Multiple suppression bands may be defined in the IMD Suppression Table. The suppression level is relative to tone power, assuming all tones have the same amplitude value.

The maximum suppression level for the current signal can be approximated with the following equation.

90 – 8*log10(Tone Count)
