Quick Setups

Clicking Quick Setups in the Closedtree view displays the setup buttons in the right pane that enable you to choose between using simulated hardware, a saved Quick Setup, or saving the current configuration as a Quick Setup.

Selecting a Quick Setup displays the system details for that configuration.

Save As Quick Setup

Saves the current application state as a quick setup. Enter a name for your setup in the Closedwindow that appears.

All hardware parameters from the Signal Generator and Arbitrary Waveform Generator nodes are saved. The file saving location and extension are automatically added to the user-defined file name.

Open Quick Setup

Opens an existing application quick setup file. The quick setup file contains both the application settings as well as the hardware configuration. When a quick setup file is loaded, the hardware information contained in the file is used to configure the system.

The hardware settings may not match those currently shown in the Instrument Controls window of the Signal Generator or the Arbitrary Waveform Generator nodes. Use Update to Instrument to synchronize the hardware parameters, if desired.

Delete Quick Setup

Deletes the selected quick setup from the list. Confirm or cancel the deletion in the Closedwindow that appears.

Rename Quick Setup

Allows you to change the name of the selected quick setup file.
