Enhancements:
Updated common Signal Studio and Baseband Studio libraries (DLLS) to be the same as used by other Signal Studio Applications.
Windows 10 (64 bit) support only.
Bug fixes:
Fixed timeout error on signal analyzer setup during play.
Enhancements:
Added support for N9010B EXA, N9020B MXA, and N9030B PXA Signal Analyzers
Enhancements:
NPR Amplitude Profile
Improved amplitude profile out-of-date reporting
Increased amplitude profile range to -30 dB to +200dB with limitations. See Amplitude Profile in the N7621B help for more information.
Added checking of Amplitude Profile file last write time to be sure latest data is used.
Added 900 MHz to 1100 MHz profile data to Amplitude Profile example file to work with ESG and MXG.
Added error code numbers to error messages
Added MultitoneDistortion.ClearCalibration() method to API
Added LabVIEW example and documentation
Bug fixes:
Fixed a problem where users could not save settings when configured in wideband IQ simulation mode with N8241A Arb.
Fixed a problem where Amplitude Profile file was scaled incorrectly when used as a way to create multiple notches.
Bug fixes:
Added the Dispose() .NET API call to prevent crashes in LabVIEW. See the LabVIEW help topic for more information.
Fixed an error condition when connecting to an M8190A AWG without option 14B.
Enhancements:
Minor rebranding changes
Added support for the N9040B UXA Signal Analyzer
Enhancements:
Applied Keysight brand to software.
As a result of re-branding, certain software installation folders on your PC have been renamed from "Agilent" to "Keysight." This can cause errors with existing API programs attempting to access the old folder name. In these cases, you must modify the reference path in your program.
Enhancements:
Support for Windows 7 (32/64 bit)
Newly supported hardware:
M8190A wideband arbitrary waveform generator (FW version 2.4.3.1 or higher)
N5172B/N5182B vector signal generator with Internal Arb (FW version B.01.40 or higher)
Enhancement:
Added support for the N9030A X-Series (PXA) Signal Analyzer for correction measurement.
Enhancements:
Added wideband IQ below 3.2 GHz (PSG-D with option H18 or 018)
Added option HBQ (bandwidth-limited wideband IQ inputs)
Newly supported hardware:
E8267D PSG Option H18
N9010A and N9020A X-Series (EXA and MXA) Signal Analyzers for correction measurement
N603xA and N824xA half-rate external Arb waveform generators
Added the ability to enable or disable the Shift RF Filter Switch Points feature
Bug fixes:
Corrected some support issues with PSG Option H18/018.
Fixed a bug that incorrectly set Arb sample rates for half-rate external Arb waveform generators.
Fixed a problem where using amplitude profile would cause the application to hang.
Adjusted NPR amplitude profile numeric format to comply with US decimal standard.
Corrected a problem where wideband spectrum below 250 MHz was inverted.
Added support for the N5162A MXG ATE vector signal generator.
Bug fix:
Corrected a bug that was preventing installation of the N7621 Signal Studio for Multitone Distortion on a system with Agilent IO Libraries Suite Version 15.0 or higher.
Bug fix:
The 14-day trial license now works correctly.
This is the initial release of the N7621 Signal Studio for multitone distortion software that is used to generate multitone and noise power ratio (NPR) test signals.
Features:
Features depend on installed hardware and firmware options in the signal generator.
Supports N5182A MXG, E8267C/D PSG, and E4438C ESG signal generators
Control signal generator functions remotely through the software
Automatic programming interface (API) for automating signal creation
Flexible licensing: fixed, transportable, and time-based
Configure distortion-free two-tone and multitone test signals, with up to 4097 tones (IMD suppression > 70 dBc)
Configure a NPR test stimulus with up to 100 MHz noise BW, notch depth >60 dBc, and +/- .5 dB noise flatness
Control magnitude and phase (random, parabolic, or constant phase) for individual tones with presets across tones to control CCDF characteristics
Reduce carrier feedthrough issues using tone/noise/notch offset capability
Sequence waveforms with the API for smooth transition between signals
Control frequency, amplitude, and ALC, markers, triggering, and more
Automate signal configuration and generation using the COM and .NET API
Apply pre-distortion to enhance signal quality and minimize test uncertainty
Download waveform files over LAN and GPIB
