To access the full functionality of Sequence Studio, it is necessary to obtain from Agilent a U9066A-1TP license (*.lic) file, and install it on the PC which will be running Sequence Studio:
(1) When you purchase a Sequence Studio license, Agilent Technologies provides you with an Entitlement Certificate (in printed or electronic form) which includes the web address for a site where you can redeem the certificate, and instructions on how to do so.
(2) Visit the referenced web site, and use the information from the Entitlement Certificate to fill in the redemption form. When the redemption process is completed, you will be provided with a license file (filename.lic).
(3) Save the license file to the hard drive of the PC on which you have installed Sequence Studio.
(4) Launch Agilent License Manager (it is accessible from the All Programs menu in Windows, under Agilent).
(5) From the File menu of Agilent License Manager, select Install. Navigate to the location on your PC hard drive where you have stored the Sequence Studio license file (filename.lic), and select it for installation.
(6) Once the license is successfully installed, it is listed (as “U9066A-1TP”) in the table of Licensed Products and Features.
(7) Agilent License Manager can now be closed. When Sequence Studio is launched, it recognizes that the U9066A-1TP license is installed; this allows Sequence Studio to run in full mode rather than demo mode.
