Transition Time (ms)

This is a source sequence parameter which specifies the setup time required within a given step, to allow the source to settle at the specified frequency and amplitude settings.

There is no dropdown list for this field; it is necessary to enter a suitable value, or accept the default value of 1 ms.

Recommended minimum values are:

• For a frequency change: 0.5 ms
• For an amplitude change to within 1.0 dB: 0.1 ms
• For an amplitude change to within 0.1 dB: 0.02 ms
