Controlling M9161D Switch

The M9161D PXI Solid State Dual SP4T Switch Module can be controlled by the pre-installed plug-in. The M9161D PXI Solid State Switch Firmware must be installed in advance. Refer to http://www.keysight.com/support/m9161d.

Procedure

1. Import Dual_SP4T.tsetx file as Set Switch Matrix... in Topology tab of the Front end application. Specify the ports according to your connection. (You can use your customized switch matrix definition if you want.). Dual_SP4T.tsetx is located at {My Document}\AMX\TestSet.
   
   

2. Complete your test plan and output the TAP plan file.

3. In TAP (back end application), click Setting > Bench > Instruments to open Bench Setting Tab.

4. Click + button, and add M9161D under AMX.

5. Specify the VISA address of M9161D for Sw01_02 (SW1 and SW2 in switch matrix definition).
   
   

6. Open your TAP plan file.

7. Select M9161D as Test Set Controller at Step Setting for each connection.
   
   

8. Execute the test plan.
