There are differences in Windows display for firmware A.03.3x, B.xx.xx and above compared to previous revisions. The differences in Windows display is due to the Windows licenses used with the firmware.
E5052B with firmware revision A.03.3x and above, prior revision B.xx.xx:
Is labelled as Windows XP Pro for Embedded Systems (at rear panel).
The Windows taskbar is no longer shown at the bottom of the screen.
The Windows resizing buttons no longer appear at the upper-right of the Windows titlebar. It is replaced with E5071C resize button at the upper-right of the channel titlebar, as shown in the following figure:
E5052B with firmware revision B.xx.xx and above:
The license label at rear panel is Windows 7.
The Windows task bar is shown at the bottom of the screen.
E5052B with firmware older than revision A.03.3x (for example, A.03.2x):
Labelled as Windows Vista Business (at rear panel).
The Windows task bar is shown at the bottom of the screen.
The Windows resizing buttons are shown at the upper-right of the Windows titlebar. There is no E5052B resize button at the upper-right of the channel titlebar.
However, if you had the earlier firmware version and have upgraded to revision A.03.3x:
The Windows taskbar is still shown at the bottom of the screen.
However, the Windows resizing buttons no longer appear at the upper-right of the Windows titlebar. It is replaced with E5052B resize button at the upper-right of the channel titlebar.
