Windows License

The differences in Windows display is due to the Windows licenses used with the storage revision.

Storage revision

ELxxx: (Windows XP)

• The license label at rear panel is Windows Vista Business.

• The Windows task bar is shown at the bottom of the screen.

KYxxx:(Windows XP)

• The license label at rear panel is Windows XP Pro for Embedded Systems.

• The Windows task bar is no longer shown at the bottom of the screen at default (It can be shown with Windows setting.)

KWxxx/YDxxx: (Windows 7)

• The license label at rear panel is Windows Embedded Standard 7.

• The Windows task bar is shown at the bottom of the screen.

YFxxx:(Windows 10)

• The license label at rear panel is Windows 10.

• The Windows task bar is shown at the bottom of the screen.

Firmware revision

A.01.xx

• The Windows resizing buttons are shown at the upper-right of the Windows titlebar. There is no E5061B resize button at the upper-right of the channel titlebar.

A.02.xx/B.03.xx and above

• The Windows re-sizing buttons are no longer appear at the upper-right of the Windows titlebar. It is replaced with E5061B resize button at the upper-right of the channel titlebar, as shown in the following figure:
