Channel Studio TDL
This tab allows you to configure the basic information of the custom fading profile, such as:
Fading Profile Name
Number of Tx/Rx Antennas
Center Frequency
Initial Delay / Doppler Unit / Delay Unit
The General tab has the following settings:
Sets the name of the fading profile. The Channel Studio TDL application saves the fading profile (.tdlx) file with this name when you Generate the fading profile.

Sets the way to update the center frequency in fading profile.
If set to Auto, the center frequency will be the same as the RF frequency of your signal generator's RF output channel that you specified in the Hardware RF Output Channel setting.
If set to Manual, you can update the center frequency manually in the Channel Studio TDL GUI.

Sets the unit type to be used to define the max doppler. Four types of Doppler units are available - Hz, m/s, km/h, mph
If Unit type is Hz, then:
Max Doppler of every fading path can be set directly in the Channel Studio TDL GUI.
Three options are available for Amplitude Distribution - Constant, Rayleigh, and Rice.
Vehicle speed setting is not available.
If Unit type is m/s, km/h, or mph, then:
Max Doppler of fading path is read-only and adjusts automatically with the changes in the vehicle speed setting.
Two options are available for Amplitude Distribution - Rayleigh and Rice.
The vehicle speed setting is available.
