These commands set general signal capture functionality.
:CAPTure[1]:DURAtion:SAMPles <val>
:CAPTure[1]:DURAtion:SAMPles?
This command sets the signal capture depth, or number of samples to capture. This command is coupled to :CAPTure:DURAtion:TIME.
The variable <val> is expressed in samples.
Range: 256 to 536870912 (512 MSa)
:CAPTure[1]:DURAtion:TIME <val>
:CAPTure[1]:DURAtion:TIME?
This command sets the length of time for a signal capture. This command is coupled to :CAPTure:DURAtion:SAMPles.
The variable <val> is expressed in seconds.
Range: Depends on the :CAPTure[1]:RATE setting
:CAPTure[1]:DURAtion:VSA ON|OFF|1|0
:CAPTure[1]:DURAtion:VSA?
When set to On, this command sends data for the selected channel to the VSA software for analysis. The amount of data sent to the VSA software depends on the duration setting.
:CAPTure[1]:FILE "<file name>"
:CAPTure[1]:FILE?
This command specifies the file to be used to store captured waveform data. The PXB's D:\ partition is reserved for user data.
:CAPTure[1]:RATE <val>
:CAPTure[1]:RATE?
This command sets the target rate for data being stored into the PXB's volatile waveform capture memory.
The variable <val> is expressed in samples per second.
Range: 1 kSa/s to 200 MSa/s
