These commands set the clock functionally.
:CONTrol:CLOCk:FREQuency <val>
:CONTrol:CLOCk:FREQuency?
This command sets the frequency of the external clock reference. When the current clock reference source is internal, the reference frequency is fixed at 10 MHz. Changing the clock frequency from the default 10 MHz value will automatically change the clock reference source from internal to external.
The variable <val> is expressed in Hz.
Range: 1E6
to 100E6
:CONTRol:CLOCk:SOURce INTernal|EXTernal
:CONTRol:CLOCk:SOURce?
This command sets the clock reference for the source to use either an internal or external reference for the waveform clock.
INTernal |
This choice selects the internal reference signal to provide the synchronization and timing for all of the PXB circuits and may be used to provide a 10 MHz reference signal to other external instruments. |
EXTernal |
This choice selects an external clock reference connected to the rear panel SMB connector labeled EXT REF IN. A valid reference signal has a frequency range of 1 MHz to 100 MHz with an input power range of –5 to 10 dBm. The reference signal frequency must be entered as the clock rate. |
