Trigger Command

These commands sets the trigger functionally.

:CONTrol:TRIGger:SOURce SW|HW|BUS

:CONTrol:TRIGger:SOURce?

This command selects the trigger source to be applied from the software or hardware. The trigger source determines how the instrument receives the trigger that initiates the playing the waveform.

SW	This choice selects the PXB internal firmware to provide the trigger source for the playing the waveform. The waveform will be played when CONT:PLAY ON is executed.
HW	This choice selects the playing process to wait and begin playback upon receiving a trigger signal from the an external trigger source connected to the rear panel EXT TRIG IN SMB connector.
BUS	This choice selects the digital bus to provide the trigger source for the waveform playing. When CONT:PLAY ON is executed, the system waits for the *TRG command before playing the waveform playing.

:CONTrol:TRIGger:POLarity POSitive|NEGative

:CONTrol:TRIGger:POLarity?

This command selects the trigger polarity when the trigger source is from the hardware.

POSitive	This choice sets the TTL signal level at the rear panel EXT TRIG IN SMB connector to trigger at the rising edge of the signal.
NEGative	This choice sets the TTL signal level at the rear panel EXT TRIG IN SMB connector to trigger at the falling edge of the signal.
