Power Imbalance Commands

The Power Imbalance commands provide a means of adjusting the power balance between fading paths in MIMO configurations. With individual adjustments, you can create power imbalance in faded signals, which is important for MIMO OTA testing. Power Imbalance is only applicable to MIMO configurations.  

Numerical Choices:

FSIMulator[1]|2 – These choices correspond to the Master Setups used in the selected configuration. Only multi-user MIMO uses more than one Master Setup.

FADer[1]|2|3|4|5|6|7|8|9|10|11|12|13|14|15|16The fader number refers to the fader simulation block that you are configuring. 

PATH[1]|2|3|4|5|6|7|8|9|10|11|12|13|14|15|16|17|18|19|20|21|22|23|24 – These choices select the paths to be adjusted.

This command sets or queries the Line of Sight (LOS) component power for the specified path. The power imbalance setting will either have a real, non-negative value between 0 and 1 with a resolution of .01.

Range: 0 to 1
