Touch Screen Calibration

Perform this calibration on the touch screen display if the touch screen display seems inaccurate or if you are experiencing difficulty using the touch screen display.

To calibrate the touch screen display:

  1. From the Start button, click All Programs and select Hampshire TSHARC Control Panel to start the touch screen calibration user interface.

  2. Select the Calibration tab.Closed

Only use the Calibration tab. Do not change any of the other tabs.

  1. Select the number of touch points to use for the calibration.

The minimum recommended number of calibration points to use when performing this calibration is 9.

  1. Select the Begin Linearization button.

The display will go to a grey background with an arrow at the touch point.

  1. When prompted, touch the target point with your finger and hold it in place until the Hold message changes to Release.

This will move the target to the next touch point.

Touch the point as accurately as possible to ensure a good calibration.

  1. As prompted by the calibration, repeat the previous step until all points have been calibrated.

When all target points have been done, the software will take you to verify.

  1. Verify that the touch screen target moves to where you finger touched, then select Accept.

  2. Press OK to exit when the touch screen calibration is complete.
