FTP is method of transferring files between the PXB and any computer connected to the LAN. When logged onto the PXB with the FTP command, the PXB's file structure can be accessed.
The following steps outline a sample FTP session from the MS-DOS Command Prompt:
On the PC click Start > All Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt.
At the command prompt enter the following, then press Enter:
ftp < IP address > or < hostname >
At the user name prompt, enter the user name (PXB's account name), then press Enter.
At
the password prompt, enter the password (PXB's account name password),
then press Enter.
You are now in the PXB’s user directory. Typing help at the ftp> command prompt will show you the FTP commands that are available on your system.
Type quit or bye to end your FTP session.
Type exit to end the command prompt session.
