Overview (Real-time)
The software supports the channels and reference signals as shown in Figure 1 below for an Uplink carrier compliant with the 3GPP standard release (March 2010). Refer to the Technical Overview for the 3GPP standard versions.

As part of the HSUPA structure, the Enhanced Dedicated Channel (E-DCH) is a transport channel for carrying user data in the uplink. At the physical layer this is done with two uplink channels:

E-DCH Dedicated Physical Data Channel (E-DPDCH), and

E-DCH Dedicated Physical Control Channel (E-DPCCH).

The E-DPCCH carries control information associated to the E-DPDCH for decoding the uplink channels including the E-DCH.

The real-time downlink channel SCPI commands are not supported in this release.
