The minor enhancement updates (MEU) option allows you to obtain the latest capabilities of the software. It is purchased as N7600B-MEU. However, each enhancement update is licensed as N7600B-Uxx, as shown in the image above. As more enhancements become available, the option suffix increments: U01, U02, U03 and so on. Purchasing MEU includes all the capabilities from previous MEU licenses. For example, purchasing the license for U03 includes everything that was in U01 and U02. If you had purchased an earlier MEU license, such as U01, and want the most recent MEU capabilities available in U03, purchasing another MEU license upgrades your software to the most current state.
Displays the license option description for the available feature(s).
Basic W-CDMA / HSPA / HSPA+ capability enables your licensed instrument to play your 3GPP-compliant waveforms using parameters and controls that are optimized for testing amplifiers, filters, and similar components.
Advanced W-CDMA / HSPA+ enables your licensed instrument to play your 3GPP-compliant waveforms using the full set of parameters and controls for maximum signal creation flexibility and is optimized for use in receiver test environments.
A valid instrument connectivity license enables your licensed instrument to play waveforms generated by Signal Studio software.
Displays the license status of the connected instrument.
− the license is installed and active.
− the license is not installed or may be expired.
− Not applicable. The feature may not exist, or may be reserved for future use.
− Licensing information is not available for the connected instrument.
When a new instrument connection is established, the instrument licenses are automatically retrieved from that instrument. If the connected instrument does not have the correct licensing for the current waveform setup, that setup will be lost and reset to the initial settings. You will be prompted to save the setup parameters before continuing.
