Frame Number Alignment

This topic shows the DPCH synchronization and frame number alignment for continuous (infinity) and compressed mode with compressed frame number (CFN).

Figure 1 illustrates the frame number alignment for compressed mode when the TGPRC data field is set to Infinity. In this case, the frame clock period must be equal to or be a multiple of the compressed mode (TG pattern length) definition.

Figure 2 illustrates the frame number alignment for compressed mode when it is required to align with CFN number counting. This mode of operation requires a frame clock of 2560 ms or a system frame number reset signal as the frame sync trigger.
