N5172B EXG and N5182B MXG SCPI Compatibility

Use this topic to find the E4438C Option 402 SCPI commands supported by the N5172B and the N5182B MXG signal generators.

These commands are separated into supported and unsupported tables.The unsupported table has the least number of commands, thus providing a more time-efficient way of determining whether or not a command is supported by the N5172B/82B MXG signal generators.

In some cases, SCPI commands are only partially supported. This usually occurs due to a variance in parameters between the N5172B/82B and the E4438C. When this condition occurs, the SCPI command appears in both tables showing the exact SCPI command syntax that is either supported or unsupported.
