Check the signal generator for error messages. If possible, correct the conditions indicated by the messages.
When a setting conflict (error) occurs, an error number and a brief message appear at the bottom of the signal generator display. You can view the full text of the error message on the signal generator front panel or by executing SCPI commands.
Front panel: Press the hardkey on the signal generator front panel to view error messages on the display.
SCPI: Execute the SCPI error commands described in the System Subsystem section of the SCPI Reference.
