Hardware Settings

Click Hardware in the tree view to display read-only information about the system hardware. Expanding the Hardware node in the tree view reveals the Instrument node, which opens a window where you can change various instrument settings, such as frequency and amplitude.

When using a simulated signal generator connection, <Simulated Hardware> appears in the Name cell and <Simulated RF Signal Generator> appears in the Connection cell. N/A appears in most of the other cells.

Name

View the name assigned to the system.

Description

View the hardware configuration type.

2. RF Signal Generator Details

Connection

View connection details (LAN or GPIB).

Model Number

View the instrument model number.

Serial Number

View the instrument serial number.

Firmware Revision

View the instrument firmware revision number.

2.1 Options

View the options of the connected instrument. These cells are not displayed when using simulated hardware.
