Dirty Transmitter Test

The following example procedures show you how to configure the Signal Studio software for dirty transmitter tests.

Basic Data Rate

1. Select Bluetooth Basic Rate + Enhanced Rate from the Format drop-down menu.

   

2. Click Licenses in the tree view on the left to ensure that the states for N7606B-Q** and N7606B-n** are set to On.

   

3. Click Bluetooth BR+EDR on the tree view on the left to configure the Bluetooth parameters.

   Set Dirty Transmitter State to On.    

   

4. Click to select Test profile for BR or EDR packets.

   

5. Click in the tool bar to generate and download the waveform to the signal generator.

Enhanced Data Rate

1. Set Dirty Transmitter State to On.    

   Set Omit Poll Period to On.    

   Set Data Rate to 2Mbps.    

   

2. Click to select Test profile for EDR packets.

   

3. Click in the tool bar to generate and download the waveform to the signal generator.
