Use any of the following methods to view the time remaining for a trial license on your Keysight instrument.
The instructions below apply only to Keysight EXG, MXG, ESG, and PSG signal generators. To view license information for other Keysight instruments, refer to the user documentation for those instruments.
Use the appropriate key-press sequence for your instrument model:
MXG/EXG:
> > > >ESG/PSG:
> > >Look at the Expiration column for the number of remaining days.
EXPIRED is displayed when there is no time remaining.
This procedure applies to EXG, MXG, ESG, and PSG signal generators only.
On your PC, open an internet browser.
In the Address field, enter either the hostname or the IP address of the instrument.
Press Enter on the keyboard. The instrument's web page appears.
On the left side of the web page, click Signal Generator Web Control. At this point, you may be prompted to enter a password. For more information on setting the password, refer to the signal generator's Programming Guide.
Click the appropriate key-press sequence for your instrument model:

On your PC, open the Keysight License Manager. If you do not have the Keysight License Manager installed on your PC, download it at http://www.keysight.com/find/licensemanager.
Click
> . A dialog box appears.In the Device Address field, enter either the hostname or the IP address of the instrument.
Click
. The instrument address and its installed licenses appear in the tree view (left pane). The right pane displays additional information for each license, including the Expiration Date.
