Marker Source Selections

Use the Marker Source Selection drop-down menu for the Marker 1 or 2 Source cells to set active marker points within the waveform. The cells are located in the Waveform Setup parameter configuration table.

Waveform Start

Sets the first five marker bits of the waveform to 1 to indicate the beginning of the waveform. (Sets an active marker for the first five waveform samples.)

Frame Start

Sets the first five marker bits of the frame to 1 to indicate the beginning of each frame in the waveform. (Sets an active marker for the first five frame samples.)

RF ALC Control

Activates the automatic leveling control (ALC) function. When enabled, the ALC monitors and controls the RF output power of the signal generator. Use the following links to access more details:

The marker bits are set to 1 within ALC Control part in the waveform.

For 802.15.4 SUN OFDM waveform, ALC Control marker is placed within STF 4 symbols. The power level of STF symbols is used as the reference for ALC to control the RF output power of the signal generator.

RF Blanking Control

Assigns a specific marker to activate RF blanking. ALC hold is automatically enabled during output blanking.

The marker bits are set to 1 for all non-zero sample points to indicate the burst part in the waveform.
