Enhanced Other Networks

This feature can be used to update the information stored in a receiver about program services other than the one received. Alternative frequencies, the PS name, Traffic Program and Traffic Announcement identification as well as Program Type and Program Item Number information can be transmitted for each other service. The relation to the corresponding program is established by means of the relevant Program Identification.

State

Choice: On | Off

Set the state of the Message.

Message Type

Set in the RDS Message list.

Group Type

Range: Group Type 0 to Group Type 15 

Default: Group Type 14

Group Version

Choice: Version A | Version B

Default: Version A

Set the Version of the Group

For Version A, the PI code is inserted in block 1 only; for Version B, the PI code is inserted in block 1 and block 3 of all group types.

Interval

Set the interval of the message.

EON Information

Choice: PIN (ON) | AF (ON) Method A | AF Mapped Frequencies | Linkage Information | PTY (ON) and TA (ON) | PIN (ON) |

Default: AF (ON) Method A

EON information permits the transmission of not only information of a currently receiving local or this network but also information of other non-receiving networks.

Other Network PI Code Value

Range: 0000000000000000 to 1111111111111111

Default: 1000000000000001

Set the 16 bits PI (Programme Identification) Code Value.

Other Network Country Code

Range: 0 to 15

Default: 8

Set the Country Code of the PI Code.

Other Network Coverage Area

Choices: Local | International | National | Supra-regional\Regional 1....Regional 12

Default: Local

Set the Coverage Area Type of the PI Code.

Other Network Traffic Programme Identification (TP)

Choice: On | Off

Default: Off

Set the Traffic Programme Identification (TP) of RDS.

Other Network Programme Reference Number

Range: 0 to 255

Default: 2

Set the Programme Reference Number of the PI Code.

In each country, these codes should be systematically assigned and generically linked to the programme families.

Other Network Programme Item Number Code

Range: 0 to 65535

Default: 0

Traffic Announcement (TA)

Choice: On | Off

Default: Off

Set the Traffic Announcement (TA) .

Other Network Mapped FM Frequency

Choice: 87.6 MHz to 107.9MHz

Default: 91.5MHz

Set the other Network Mapped FM Frequency, be sure to enter MHz while editing.
