Radio Text refers to text transmissions, primarily addressed to consumer home receivers, which would be equipped with suitable display facilities.
There are two ways for configuring Radio Text (RT) message:
Directly click on in the
RDS Message list,
and edit in the Message pane below.
Import Radio Text from a txt file, in which the
, and could be specified.
Choice: On | Off
Default: On
Set the state of the Message.
Set in the RDS Message list.
Range: Group Type 0 to Group Type 15
Default: Group Type 2
Illustrate the Type of the Group.
Choice: Version A | Version B
Default: Version A
Set the Version of the Group.
For Version A, the PI code is inserted in block 1 only; for Version B, the PI code is inserted in block 1 and block 3 of all group types.
Set the interval of the message.
Choice: A or B
Default: A
If the receiver detects a change in the flag (from binary "0” to binary "1” or vice-versa), then the whole Radio Text display shall be cleared and the newly received Radio Text message segments shall be written into the display; If the receiver detects no change in the flag, then the received text segments or characters shall be written into the existing displayed message and those segments or characters for which no update is received shall be left unchanged.
