HSDPA Channels Setup

For HSDPA mode, the switching point in the Waveform Setup must be set at 1.

opens a window that allows you to select HS-DSCH RMC QPSK or HS-DSCH RMC 16QAM reference measurement channel as defined in TS 25.222. When selected, the precoded parameters for the channel are automatically set in the HS-DSCH window. Refer to RMC Configuration for details.

HSDPA Channel Summary Table

This table displays the HSDPA channel and its attributes as currently set. Double-clicking a channel row activates the setup tables for that channel.

UE Category

Range: 1 to 15

Enter a value to select the ClosedUE category. All other parameters are automatically set depending on the selected category.

Range: 7008, 10204, 14043 depending on UE category

Total Soft Channel bits

Range: depends on UE category.

Displays the total soft channel bits as specified by the UE category selection.

Support SF = 1

Choice: On or Off

Displays whether the UE category supports SF = 1.
