Fundamental Transport Channel Specifications

User File for Transport Channel*

Description

Data source handling

Data source is short: Repeat the user file until it fills the data container size.

Data source is long: Truncated by the data container size.

Length of data source

PN9: 511bits

PN15: 32767 bits

0,1 text file: Number of 0's and 1's in the text file

Continuous payload

Truncated PN: OFF, Exporting Payload: OFF

  1. Subframe number for TrCH #n

= <number of subframes for each TrCH (TrCHn)>

    = LCM(<block size> x <number of blocks>, <length of the entered data>) x (<TTI period> / 5[ms]) / (<block size> x <number of blocks>)

    and

    <number of sub-frames for all TrCHs> = LCM(<number of sub-frame(TrCH1)>, <number of sub-frame(TrCH2)>)

    Where:

    LCM: Least Common Multiple

  2. The selected data source (PN9 / PN15 / 0,1 text file) is converted to a bit stream of the transport channel layer. The bit stream is then coded and multiplexed continuously across all the subframes by necessary data source handling.

Truncated payload

Truncated PN: ON, Exporting Payload: ON

  1. Subframe number should be a multiple of (<TTI> / 5[ms]).

  2. Data source size of transport channel will be (<Block Size> * <Number of Blocks>) by necessary data source handling.

  3. The truncated input data will be saved to a text file under C:\folder.
