EVM vs. Power measurement is performed when running a power sweeping test flow. The EVM vs. Power result shows EVM (Y axis) versus PA Input/Output Power (X axis) result. The PA Input/Output Power (X axis) range is specified by Power Max and Power Min (in PA block). The distance between each points is set by the Power Step (in the PA block) value.
EVM vs. Power results are required in PA tests and the waveform in use is usually required to have specified duty cycles, which can be configured using the Burst Formation and Mask settings in the Waveform block.
The X axis values are real PA output power measured by the Signal Analyzer.
The Y axis values are the EVM results queried from the WLAN or LTE FDD measurement application in the Signal Analyzer.
