Status Bar

The status bar at the bottom of the window shows the connection status. There are two status as below.

• Connected

  When the status is connected, it means all the instruments are connected correctly and the test flow runs successfully once.

  In the Connected status, the changes to the instrument settings on the N7614B user interface are set to the corresponding instrument in real time. For example, if you change the frequency of the RF Signal Generator from 1 GHz to 2 GHz on N7614B, the frequency of the instrument is changed accordingly at the same time, without the requirement of running the test for another time.

• Idle

  Idle is the default status. Failures in a Run, such as waveform file not found, instrument connection failure, etc., change the status back to Idle from Connected.
